Natursutten is made ecologically sustainable from pure natural rubber from the tree Hevea brasiliensis. The design, the company and the idea is Danish and our product is manufactured exclusively in Italy.
The soft material of the Natursutten pacifier has several advantages:
- Follows baby’s natural mouth movements
- Does not leave marks on baby’s face
- Have shown incredible strength in the “Stretch-test”
- 100% natural
- Environment friendly and biodegradable
Natursutten is a one-piece pacifier which is more hygienic because the single-piece construction means there are no joints or cracks where dirt and bacteria can accumulate. Standard pacifiers usually have a crevice where the nipple and shield come together which is difficult to keep clean.
How do I choose between Original and Butterfly? Original has a relatively large shield that gently touches your baby’s nose and gives her the same secure feeling she experiences during breastfeeding. Butterfly has the cut-out that leaves more room for baby’s nose.
Cleaning and Disposing
Before the first use sterilize your new pacifier by immersing in boiling water for five minutes. Make sure the pacifier is completely covered by water at all times. Afterwards clean on a daily basis by washing in mild liquid soap under running water — if it needs an extra thorough clean place it in a strainer and sterilize it by pouring boiling water over it. But don’t boil it again and never leave it to cool down in boiling water. It is not dishwasher-safe. And we don’t recommend the use of sterilizers.
Natursutten pacifiers must be replaced every 6 – 8 weeks. It’s important to inspect the pacifier carefully before each use and throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness. The pacifier will get darker and somewhat sticky if you use it for too long. Should the pacifier shows signs of deterioration (peeling) it must be replaced immediately.
